About Pak SciComm 

Pak SciComm is Pakistan’s first online science communication forum launched by Faculty members, research scholars and enthusiastic students of science. The vision put forward by all of them through this platform is to initiate and lead a change in the societal behaviour towards scientific knowledge and issues related to it, specifically by creating a medium of literacy among all masses of the people.   

Our scope ranges in different arena of science including technology, health, engineering, medicine, science diplomacy, mathematics, artificial intelligence and their related affairs. Our Podcast is one of subsection, aimed to express and promote research works in both young and experienced researchers, in a layman manner in order to build bridge and mitigate the gap and voids of knowledge between science and Pakistani society. So therefore, focusing on our vision, we invite different scholars to transit their research knowledge in a way which will be helpful to others in brainstorming and incepting ideas outside the box.

Our scholarly hub is another exciting subsection of forum that provides a chance to our viewers to have virtual sessions with globally renowned professors, educationists and even entrepreneurs to get inspired from their scientific talks and entrepreneurial advices. We deliver a unique vision of entrepreneurship under this subsection specifically related to challengeable changing digital era of 21^st century.

This forum also comprise of blogs, aligned with our mission statement. Scientific writing along with authentic references are posted under this subsection. The special emphasize on references are given in order to deliver reliable knowledge.

Health Literacy is also another section of this forum, orient in a way to deliver health knowledge in such a way that health promotion and adopting attitudes toward society of well being goes parallel. Like every other section of the forum, this also tailored to attract ordinary and young viewers by depicting scientific knowledge related to pharmaceutical, general and oral health in most simplified manner.

In our managerial hierarchy, we have patron in chief, editorial board and advisory board. Our patron in chief is a renowned educationist, (name) the Vice Chancellor of University of Narowal, Pakistan.

Our editorial board has experienced professionals belonging to different field of science, like engineering, technology and health. We also have a team of volunteers serving as science writers, science communicators and media persons.
